Who Am I?
I’m Natalie, a British, 27 year old who loves all things books, and will hopefully soon be a published author!
I have been writing and reading for as long as I can remember. I love hearing characters speak to me and find comfort in those living within me.
I have so many stories to tell and can’t wait to start this journey.
It’s taken me a long time to be confident enough in myself to really go for it and share my work, so here goes nothing I guess!
I have 2, chaotic dogs. Duke (top image), and Earl (bottom image). They are my world.
My favorutie book genres include romance, dark romance and romantasy.
Stand alone books are great, but I love me a good book series.
Ice hockey is my favourite sport and I support Milton Keynes Lightning here in the UK’s NIHL league, and the Boston Bruins in the NHL.
Wherever you are in the world, if you haven’t been to an ice hockey game, go. Seriously, you won’t regret it.
A Few Facts About Me…
Fact 3
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I started out writing song lyrics when I was 5 (they needed some work), slowly moved to poetry when I was 11, and then short stories. I wrote my first play when I was 15, and then decided to start writing about all the stories I had in my head. Safe to say I have hundreds of notebooks full of random scenes between random characters dotted about everywhere from over the years.
Fact 2
Sharks are my favourite wild animal. Great White’s if we are being super specific.
I even have a certification in shark biology, bio-diversity and conservation (which yes, I studied for just for fun).
Fact 1
I LOVE ice hockey. Ever since I watched The Mighty Ducks when I was (I think around) 8 years old, I have loved the Sport.
Fact 4
I have Fibromyalgia and Discoid Lupus (basically lupus of the skin).
I was ashamed of my disabilities for a long time, but the older I got I learned to embrace them. They make me, well, me.
Fact 5
I have tons of characters in my head. All with their own distinct voices. I write when they speak to me. Sometimes I’m just sitting there and suddenly a scene will just start playing in my head, so I write it down.
